Since God touched and transformed the lives of Llano & Esme in 1990 they

attended Bible School at Christian family Church in Edenvale. After graduation they served as Area Leaders and were involved in the Passion play every Easter.

In 1996 they felt the call of God to become missionaries. They served with Jesus Alive ministries for two years and attended Rhema Church in that time.

God gave them a great passion and compassion for the poor in Africa during their time there.

They located to Boksburg where they started the Boksburg Street Church and soup kitchens that later planted two churches: Jesus is the Answer Ministries in Daveyton and New Hope Ministries in Boksburg North. Their ministry is based on Heb 6:9 “Now we have this hope as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul” and their greatest joy is to see people reconciled to God the Father and to see them feeling His love for them for the first time. To reach the unlovable with the tangible love of God is their vision Giving hope and revealing God’s heart through word and practical deeds their mission.

Llano also reaches out to the Body of Christ with Modem Ministries where he assists them in their IT related needs.

During all this time they were actively involved with outreaches and relief work in Mozambique. Since 2000 they do yearly outreaches to the orphans of Mozambique. They love to take others that have a heart for missions with them to train and to give them an experience first hand of the need that compels them to go: James 1:27 “Religion that is pure and stainless, in the sight of our God and Father, is to help and visit orphans and widows in their time of trouble..”

Llano & Esme have been married for 24 years and have two children: Keziah who is 17 and Ruadri who is 14. Their children are part of all their outreaches and their loving support has been awesome. They believe that working together as a family has strengthened them and drawn them very close.  They thank and praise our Father God for all He has done and all that is to come.
